HALLOWEEN at Western Park

On Monday 31st October 2011, at Western Park (Main entrance from Hinckley Road), FOWP will be organising a SpOoKy HaLlOwE3n Event, suitable for primary school children.

From 415PM until 630PM

Meet at MENCAP BUILDING, entrance to Western Park on Hinckley Road

  • The legendary Halloween Trail
  • There will be Pizza, Hot Dogs and Drinks on sale.
  • Spooky stories
  • Prizes for best dressed

    • Come along and support us in our quest to raise funds for the play area

     

    SPONSORED WALK - Sat 20th Nov 2010 !

    On Saturday 20th November, at Western Park, FOWP HELD a sponsored walk to help raise funds for the under 5's play area.

    Over £350 was raised, thank you to all that took part

     

     

    CHARITY BALL - GREAT SUCCESS! Raised over £2700

    Friends of Western Park Charity Ball at The City Rooms, Leicester.
    This spectacular Black Tie Event was a fantastic success.

    Who knows it might even happen again!

    Easter Egg Hunt - Wed 31st March 2010 - 50p per child

    Friends of Western Park are running an Easter Egg Hunt to take place in Western Park, meeting at the MENCAP Building (Hinckley Road Main Entrance).

    It will be a similar format to our popular Halloween Trail.

    There will be an Easter Bonnet Parade with prizes, refreshments, Hot Cross Buns, Bring 'n Buy Cake sale, Easter Stories, Facepainting (£1) and Colouring Fun.

    To make this a success, we will require your help! If you are able to give some of your time, whether it be, setting up at the beginning, helping to serve snacks, baking, or tidying up at the end, then we would love to hear from you.
